It was no surprise for Haleo to see our Community Affairs V.P. receive the recognition of Community Leadership, Professional and Development of the Year 2026.
Yeah....Haleo Members Raising the Bar!

On March 25, 2026, International Women’s Day I want to thank @leadercreatingleader and @wendymontasp for “La Vie En Rose Brunch” where 50 Extraordinary Women were recognized. @NY NY HALEO - New York Hispanic American Law Enforcement Organization Your VP

It was a tremendous surprise for me to receive the recognition "Community Leadership, Professional and Development of the Year 2026"

As a woman and a mother we have a huge responsibility. But receiving this recognition is even more my commitment to the community, in my professional life and as a woman. Every woman carries her story (we hear some) but for that story/stones in the road we can't let extinguish our LIGHT

At this Brunch we cried, laughed and danced all together. May that moment continue to serve us to motivate and inspire that Woman who needs to be heard and helped to tell herself,

"I CAN DO IT"

Tell her, “YOU CAN”

Emily Rufino, HALEO VP of Community Affairs
